Devotional Title: ✨ When Wisdom Leads the Way ✨
Read to the bottom of the page I added Romans 11 devotion.

📜 Scripture Focus:

“A wise child accepts a parent’s discipline; a mocker refuses to listen to correction.”
— Proverbs 13:1 NLT

“A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.”
— Proverbs 14:1 NLT

“Better to have little, with fear for the Lord, than to have great treasure and inner turmoil.”
— Proverbs 15:16 NLT

🔍 Scripture Observations

These chapters in Proverbs shift into short, impactful contrasts that highlight the difference between wisdom and foolishness, righteousness and wickedness, peace and chaos.
•🧠 Proverbs 13:1 teaches that wisdom begins with a teachable spirit—a heart that listens to loving correction.
•🏡 Proverbs 14:1 reveals that a woman has great influence in her home—she can either build it with wisdom or destroy it by foolishness.
•💰 Proverbs 15:16 reminds us that true treasure is found in peace with God, not in worldly abundance.

These truths emphasize that walking in wisdom brings life, peace, and strength, while rejecting it leads to loss and regret.

💡 Devotion: “When Wisdom Leads the Way”

As we journey through Proverbs, we’re reminded over and over: there are only two paths—wisdom or foolishness. We don’t coast through life in neutral. Every choice we make is either building something lasting or tearing something down.

Wisdom is more than knowing right from wrong—it’s applying truth to everyday life. A wise woman builds her home by watching her words, guarding her heart, staying humble, being diligent, and leaning on God. But the foolish woman—often unknowingly—tears down her home with carelessness, anger, pride, or passivity.

The same is true for our spiritual lives. If we despise discipline and correction, we cut ourselves off from growth. If we chase possessions over peace, we’ll feel empty inside.

👣 But when wisdom leads the way, the result is life. Even with little, a heart that fears the Lord will be full of joy, peace, and purpose.

🧠 Lesson for Me

Lord, am I accepting Your correction with humility? Am I being intentional to build my home and relationships with love and care? Or am I tearing things down through neglect, frustration, or distraction?

📝 Application Questions
1.📣 Have I resisted correction this week? How can I be more teachable?
2.🧱 Am I building up or tearing down my home? What action can I take today to strengthen it?
3.🌿 Do I value peace with God over possessions and achievements?
4.✍️ Which proverb today spoke most to my heart? How can I live it out?

🙏 Prayer

Father, I want to walk in wisdom. Help me to receive correction with grace and to apply Your truth with love. Let me be a woman who builds her home with intention and reverence for You. I choose peace over possessions, and wisdom over the world’s ways. Let Your wisdom lead me today and always. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 💛
Romans Chapter 11
Scripture Focus
"For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen." Romans 11:36 (NLT)

Observation
Romans 11 reveals the greatness of God's plan of salvation. God did not reject Israel, nor did He save the Gentiles because they deserved it. Salvation has always been by grace through faith. Paul reminds us that God is both kind and severe—kind to those who trust Him and severe toward unbelief. Throughout history, God has been working out His perfect plan to show mercy to both Jews and Gentiles. The chapter ends with Paul overwhelmed by the wisdom, knowledge, and sovereignty of God, leading him into worship. Everything comes from God, is sustained by God, and ultimately exists for His glory.

Reflection
As I read Romans 11, I am reminded that God's ways are far greater than my understanding. There are times when I cannot see what He is doing or understand why He allows certain things, but His wisdom is perfect. Salvation itself is a testimony of His grace. I did not earn it, deserve it, or accomplish it through my own efforts. It was a gift purchased by Jesus and given freely to me.
This chapter also reminds me to remain humble. Any blessing, wisdom, opportunity, ministry, or spiritual growth in my life comes from the Lord. It is easy to look at what God has done and forget that it all began with Him. My life is not ultimately about my plans, my comfort, or even my success. It is about bringing glory to the One who created me, redeemed me, and sustains me every day.
When I remember that everything is from Him, through Him, and for Him, it changes how I view every circumstance. Even the things I do not understand are being woven into His greater purpose.

Lesson for Me
• Salvation is a gift of God's grace, not something I can earn.
• God's plans are far wiser than my own understanding.
• Humility grows when I remember that every blessing comes from Him.
• I can trust God's sovereignty even when I do not understand His ways.
• My life finds its greatest purpose when it is lived for His glory.
How Can I Walk in This Truth Today?
• Begin the day thanking God for His grace rather than relying on my own efforts.
• Trust Him with situations I cannot fully understand.
• Give Him the credit for every success, opportunity, and blessing.
• Walk in humility, remembering that I stand only because of His kindness.
• Ask myself throughout the day: "Does this bring glory to God?"

My Prayer 🙏
Father, thank You for Your amazing grace. Thank You that my salvation is not based on my works but on the finished work of Jesus Christ. Forgive me for the times I rely on my own understanding or become proud of what You have given me. Help me to walk in humility, gratitude, and faith. Teach me to trust Your wisdom when I cannot see the whole picture. May my life reflect the truth that everything comes from You, exists by Your power, and is intended for Your glory. Let my thoughts, words, choices, and actions bring honor to Your name today. In Jesus' name, Amen.
