Reflection

My Dear Sister Soldiers,

Leviticus 25–26 reminds us that everything belongs to God—our land, our time, our increase, even our rest. The Sabbath year and the Year of Jubilee were powerful reminders that Israel was never to live as owners, but as stewards. God built rest into their calendar. He built trust into their economy. He built mercy into their justice system.

Obedience wasn’t about restriction—it was about blessing. When they walked with Him, the land flourished, peace filled their borders, and His presence remained among them. But when they turned from Him, the very blessings they clung to slipped through their hands.

Psalm 25 echoes the heart of someone who understands this. David doesn’t demand blessing—he asks for guidance. “Show me. Lead me. Teach me.” That is the posture of a woman who wants to stay under the covering of God’s favor.

Then in Acts 22, Paul stands firm in his testimony. He recounts how God chose him, stopped him, and redirected his life. Paul’s blessing didn’t look like comfort—it looked like calling. It looked like surrender. It looked like obedience, even when misunderstood.

Sisters, blessing is not always ease.
Favor is not always comfort.
Obedience is always the safe place.

God’s covenant promise in Leviticus was clear:
Walk with Me, and I will walk with you.

And that promise still stands.

Lesson for Me

God’s blessing flows from obedience.
God’s guidance comes to those who ask to be led.
God’s calling requires surrender, not control.

When I trust Him with my time, my resources, my future, and my reputation—He takes responsibility for the outcome.

Examine My Heart Questions
•Am I living as an owner or as a steward of what God has given me?
•Is there an area where I am resisting obedience because I fear loss?
•Do I regularly ask God to lead me—or do I only ask Him to bless my plans?
•Am I willing to follow His calling even if it costs comfort or approval?

🙏 Prayer

Father,

You are the Owner of everything. My time, my home, my family, my ministry, my future—it all belongs to You. Forgive me when I cling tightly instead of trusting You fully. Teach me to walk in obedience, not because I fear punishment, but because I trust Your heart.

Lead me like David prayed. Redirect me like You did Paul. Help me live as a faithful steward under Your covering. I want Your presence more than I want ease.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Take Away

Obedience is not restriction—it is protection.
Stewardship is not loss—it is trust.
And walking with God is always the safest place to be.
