June 9th Devotional

📖 Today’s Reading
Ecclesiastes 10–12, Psalm 94, Ephesians 5

🙏 Morning Prayer
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for the breath of life today. Thank You for who You are—mighty, majestic, and perfect in all Your ways. What an amazing privilege it is to know You, to be loved by You, and to walk with You. I want to know You more. I want to see You in Your Word and in my life. Transform me, Lord, to be more like You.

"Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are His dear children."
— Ephesians 5:1 (NLT)

Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Apart from You, I can do nothing. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit so that I walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Help me daily to surrender my way for Yours. Give me wisdom as I read Your Word—may it not just be head knowledge, but truth that takes root in my heart and leads to obedience.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

🕊️ Encouragement for Today
As you read through God’s Word today, take time to highlight the verses that speak to your heart. Put a little footnote or symbol next to them in your Bible—these are the places the Holy Spirit is personally ministering to you.

📚 Ecclesiastes 10–12 is filled with short sayings that offer wisdom for everyday life—much like Proverbs. But as Solomon closes this book, he reminds us that everything is meaningless unless it’s centered on God. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding and insight as you read.

🌿 Psalm 94 reveals powerful truths about God’s justice, mercy, and strength. He is our defender and refuge—even when the world seems chaotic.

✨ In Ephesians 5, we are called to imitate God—to live lives of love, light, and wisdom. But to do that, we must know Him. If we’re not consistently reading His Word and soaking in His truth, how can we trust Him, obey Him, or reflect Him?

Let’s be women who not only read the Word but let it shape the way we live.

📝 Lesson for Me
Lord, help me not just to hear Your Word but to live it out. Let it transform my thoughts, choices, and character as I learn to imitate You.
