⚓ Reflection – “In the Storm of Life”

Every storm tests what we believe about God.
Like Job, Paul, and the psalmist, we find ourselves surrounded by uncertainty, pain, or fear—and in those moments, faith is not just what we say we have, it’s what we choose to live by.

When Job was surrounded by suffering, he still acknowledged God’s justice.
When the Israelites faced impossible circumstances, God brought water from a rock.
When Paul faced shipwreck, he stood firm and declared, “I trust God.”

🌤️ When We Trust
•We receive peace that steadies the heart.
•We see God’s hand move in impossible places.
•We become a witness to others caught in the same storm.
•We learn that His promises are more reliable than our senses.

🌧️ When We Don’t Trust
•Fear takes the wheel.
•We lose sight of God’s faithfulness.
•We drift off course, carried by emotion instead of direction.
•We miss the opportunity to grow in steadfast faith.

💡 Lesson for Me

In every storm, I have a choice—to panic or to praise 🙌.
When I remember whose I am and who is in control, my soul can rest even when the waves rise. God didn’t remove Paul from the storm; He carried him through it with peace and purpose.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, when storms come, help me to trust You completely. Remind me that You are the same God who makes water flow from rocks and peace flow into fearful hearts. Anchor me in Your promises, and let my faith shine as a light to others lost in their storms. Amen.

🕊️ Journaling Reminder

Take a few quiet moments with Jesus.
Ask Him what storm you’ve been trying to control.
Write what He whispers to your heart about trusting Him fully and resting in His promises today.
