Today’s Reading: Ezekiel 33–35; Revelation 18
Scripture Focus
“But if the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn’t sound the alarm to warn the people, he is responsible for their captivity. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman responsible for their deaths. Now, son of man, I am making you a watchman for the people of Israel. Therefore, listen to what I say and warn them for me. If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.”
—Ezekiel 33:6–8 NLT

Reflection
Jesus’ Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20) is our watchman’s call today. Just as Ezekiel had to sound the alarm, we too must warn of sin’s danger and point people to Jesus. To stay silent is not love—it’s neglect. To speak is to obey and to love.
The Great Commission is not just for pastors or missionaries—it is for every believer. We are witnesses of what Christ has done for us, and God has entrusted us with the message of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:20).
⸻
Lesson for Me
•God has made me a watchman in my generation.
•Sharing the Gospel is not optional—it is obedience to Christ.
•I don’t need fancy words; I just need to share God’s Word.
•Silence could cost lives; boldness can save them.

Cross-References

Romans Road to Salvation
A simple path through Romans you can memorize and share:
1.We are all sinners.

2.The penalty of sin is death.
Romans 6:23 — “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
3.Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 — “But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.”
4.We must confess and believe.
Romans 10:9 — “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
5.Salvation is for everyone who calls on Him.
Romans 10:13 — “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
✨ This is the Gospel in five short verses. Memorize it. Share it. Be the watchman who warns with love and points to life in Christ.

3.Share my personal testimony (Mark 5:19).
4.Walk others through the Romans Road.
5.Invite people into conversations, church, or study.
6.Trust God for the results—He brings the increase (1 Corinthians 3:6).
