Ezekeil 29,30,31, 32
Revelation 11
📖 Scripture Focus
Ezekiel 29:16, 21 (NLT)
“Then Israel will no longer be tempted to trust in Egypt for help. Egypt’s shattered condition will remind Israel of how sinful she was to trust Egypt in earlier days. Then Israel will know that I alone am the Sovereign Lord.”
“And the day will come when I will cause the ancient glory of Israel to revive, and then, Ezekiel, your words will be respected. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”
Revelation 11:15 (NLT)
“Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices shouting in heaven: ‘The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.’”
🌿 Reflection
In Ezekiel, God tears down Egypt so His people stop trusting in false supports. He shows them that He alone is sovereign. In Revelation, the same theme rises higher—the kingdoms of this world fall, and the Kingdom of Christ stands forever.
Both passages remind us that everything we cling to apart from God is temporary. Nations rise and fall, worldly power shifts, but Christ reigns unshaken. His Kingdom is eternal, and we belong to it through Him.
So when God strips away false security in our lives, it’s not punishment—it’s preparation. He is aligning us with His unshakable Kingdom that cannot be destroyed.

🙌 Lesson for Me
God tears down what I lean on in this world so that I will lean fully on Him. My hope isn’t in shifting kingdoms but in Christ, who reigns forever.
🔍 Application Questions
🙏 Prayer
Lord, thank You that when the kingdoms of this world crumble, Your Kingdom stands forever. Strip away my false trusts, remove my “Egypts,” and teach me to cling to You alone. Revive Your glory in me and help me live each day as a faithful citizen of Your eternal Kingdom. Amen.
🪧 Takeaway
When God tears down worldly “Egypts,” it isn’t to leave us empty—it’s to anchor us in His eternal Kingdom. Every crumbling stronghold is a reminder that Jesus reigns forever and ever.
✍️ Journaling Reminder
Sit quietly before Jesus and ask Him: “Lord, what false supports am I leaning on? How do You want me to live today in light of Your eternal reign?” Write down what He shows you and the steps He is calling you to take.
