Jesus: Man of Sorrows

He was despised and rejected, a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief (Isaiah 53:3). Jesus, the Savior of the world, did not come clothed in earthly majesty, but in humility and pain. He bore our sin, carried our shame, and entered into the full weight of human suffering so we would never walk through sorrow alone.

Though misunderstood, betrayed, beaten, and crucified, He endured it all for love—choosing the cross so we might be healed, forgiven, and set free. He understands our wounds because He took them upon Himself. He knows grief because He bore it.

This title reminds us that we serve a Savior who suffers with us and for us. In our darkest moments, He is not distant—He is near, familiar with sorrow, and powerful to save.
